The summer fruit (mango)
Scientific name -: mangifera Indica
“the evergreen tropical indian tree which bears mangoes”
The mango is the national fruit. The mango is a fleshy stone fruit belonging to the genus magnifera. Mangos are rich in vitamins A,C,D. it is also called “the king of fruit’’.
People welcome the summer season despite the scoring heat just to enjoy the deleciuos summer fruit mango are found in abudance only in the summer season.
Nutritive values: Mangoes are rich in nutrients. It is and excellent source of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. It also contains traces of magnesium, calcium,iron and phosphorus which are very imp for our body. Beta carotene that is an important antioxidant that helps to prevent major illnesses like cancer and tuberculosis.
